Family Traditions:
In all honesty, my family tradition died with my grandpa Otto. Before he got sick with dementia, he was the one who always wanted to go out to eat on Tuesdays to the Mars Cafe in Jackson. Other than that, the only time we really got together for tradition was the big holidays.
A Day in the Life of the Phillips Family:
Since my parents work for lifetouch and they have really cooky hours, we don't really have time to hang out as a family. We've never done things like family game night or anything, but we get the summers off, so that means we can do just about anything (within the limits of money). Our favorite past time since 2012 has been to go down to Toledo, Ohio, where our boat is docked and just hang out there with our marina friend Joe. But in the winter when the lake freezes and we put our boat up for the season, we like to hang out, watch movies, and even play videogames together and it's just a ton of fun.
